All glories to Srila Prabhupada! This is a personal blog; an offering and a memento I can rely on in times of need and darkness. Although I am a firm lover of books and a mediocre writer, I've realized that the process of writing itself can be grueling. To slave away in front of a blue lined page or a blank screen with a thousand thoughts racing through your mind but not a single idea on how to string those thoughts into a coherent sentence is a predicament I often find myself in.

 

But it is a journey. Writing is a journey.

This applies to spirituality as well. Our journey to God, the Supreme Lord, is in no way easy or short. It isn't always relaxing, peaceful, and calming. It can be hard. Exhausting. Taxing. But there is a saying that encapsulates the path to devotion very well,"difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations." So come what may, I can only pray to Lord Krishna that He gives me the strength to remain steady and unwavering in my faith, devotion, commitment, and love.

If writing can be used in my journey to reach the highest love there is for the most important personality, then with all my heart, I will use it.
